A Train Ride By Window Light

Tangerine and tungsten light splash across a moving landscape of draped pepper trees and distant mountains. I’m speeding through a southern California summer and all I can do is try and soak up the sunset while it slowly sinks behind the mountain line.

I forsake all thoughts of the future and past and focus on the present. I bring myself into the now.
